Themes for case report (posters)
  • A case report that enhances the awareness of a particular disease
  • Any rare case encountered and managed
  • A case which is an unusual presentation of a common illness
  • Any unusual complication of an illness and its accompanying management
  • Any cost-effective method to managing any illness
Abstract Submission Format:
  • Title and Author information: Following the title include names of authors and their institutional affiliation (First author will present the work if the abstract is accepted)
  • Introduction
  • Case description
  • Discussion

Clinical vignette abstract submission checklist:
  • Due date for the abstract is to be announced
  • First author will be the presenting the work
  • Presenting author meets the eligibility requirements of the conference (needs to be registered for the conference)
  • Maximum number of authors (Not more than 4 authors)
  • Author's institutional affiliations are listed
  • Abstract is organized into Introduction, case description and discussion
  • Gist of the case is presented clearly and to-the-point
  • Abstract meets the word limits (Abstract title should be less than or equal to 10 words. Abstract content must be equal to or less than 150 words, including any footnotes)
  • Other authors have reviewed the abstract for any spell checks, grammar, and content
  • Email the abstract to

Abstract submission guidelines
  • Who can submit- ISCCM members and non-members
  • Payment- None
  • Conference Registration- Workshop and / or Main Conference mandatory for all contributing presenters
  • Last date of submission- to be announced
  • Type of submissions- Case reports
  • Duration- 12 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes for discussion with the assessor
  • Length of abstracts- Abstract title should be less than or equal to 10 words. Abstract must be equal to or less than 150 words (including any footnotes).
  • Number of authors for e-poster- Not more than 4 authors for the case report e-poster.
  • Presenter- First author on the submission will have to present the e-poster.
  • Audio-visual equipment (laptop and projector)- Will be provided to the presenters without any charges. The presenter will have to load their presentations on the laptop between 9am – 10am on the day of presentation. No late entries will be permitted.
  • Multiple posters- A presenter can present only one e-poster for the Conference.
  • A total of 15 submissions will be shortlisted for the final presentation. There will be 3 finalists.
